DPS Projects Supplied by ASCO
ASCO has worked with many local construction companies to help build/remodel many local schools. Below is list of recent projects.

Samuel Gompers Elementary Middle School
Contractor: Curtis Glass Company
14450 Burt Road, Detroit MI
ASCO supplied a variety of break metal for the new LEED Certified building. Aluminum Supply Company and Marshall Sales Inc. family has annually supplying coats to the children of this local Detroit school.

Mackenzie PreK to 8 School
Contractor: Union Construction
9275 Wyoming Avenue, Detroit MI
This new building has an emphasis on student security and environmental-responsibility, with CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) and LEED(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). ASCO has supplied over 1176 lineal feet of clear anodized flashing.

Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School
Contractor: Curtis Glass Company
3200 E. Layette Street, Detroit MI
This completely new school was the largest of this years DPS projects. We supplied 1638 lineal feet of .063 clear anodized aluminum flashing, 700 lineal feet of fabricated channel, and an assortment of mill finish/clear anodized aluminum extrusions.

Western International High School
Contractor: Glasco Company
1500 Scotten Road, Detroit MI
For this addition of an athletic complex and health club, ASCO supplied a large variety of .063 clear anodized aluminum angles. The general contractor for this project, Colasanti, is headquartered in downtown Detroit.

Denby High School
Contractor: Peterson Glass Company
12800 Kelly Road, Detroit MI
This renovation required an assortment of supplied materials, such as: .125 mill finish extrusions, .063 clear anodized flashing/mitered corners, and a large amount of fabricated silver/gray custom painted steel to match the existing metals.
