Project: MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, Detroit,MI

Aluminum Supply Company supplied a variety of materials for this project. Over 1,000 1/8” thick custom aluminum infill panels were fabricated and shipped to Harmon’s Ohio location for further machining. ASCO also provided over 200 custom sunshade assemblies that trace the entire perimeter of the hotel.

Many different mitered coping profiles were also required for the job. Various flashing, trim, clips, plates, and column covers for multiple contractors were fabricated in the ASCO shop. A substantial amount of stainless steel thru-wall flashing was supplied to the masonry contractor. A number of stock extruded products were used as well.

During the course of this project, ASCO tapped a number of its industry resources – from certified welders to expert machinists –to provide the highest quality products within the limitations of a tight schedule. Each phase of the job was quoted and released individually, requiring ASCO to continually offer competitive and aggressive pricing.
